The aroma of the wine is a blend of black and blue fruits interwoven with violets, spice and earthy notes and a hint of dried herbs. On the palate, you can taste dense black fruits with choc-mint, complemented by full but fine-grained tannins with elegance and complexity.

THE STORY
The Family Reserves were originally small volumes of special blends which were produced by the family for special occasions or events.
This Cabernet blend brings together the noble Bordeaux varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot seamlessly blending the attributes of each to make something greater than the individual pieces.
THE STORY
The fruit from this Cabernet blend is selected from several different vineyards from across Coonawarra all of which are known to produce both high quality and distinctive characters from each variety.
Fermented in ten-tonne stainless steel fermenters, pumped over twice per day for extraction of colour and flavour. Once primary fermentation was complete the parcel was basket pressed and filled into a selection of French & American oak. Matured for 22 months before, the wine was racked and fined bottled with little alterations and minimal handling.
