2024 Bluebirds Cabernet Sauvignon / Cabernet Franc
Lifted florals lead into ripe plum, blueberry, mulberry and blackberry, with a subtle hint of mint. Fresh and fruit-driven on the palate, balanced by fine tannins and bright acidity for a long, smooth finish.

THE STORY
Behind the name
Bluebirds refers to the iconic blue and silver ‘Bluebird’ railcars which brought a brilliant streak of 1950s style to the railways of the South-East. Shimmering against the countryside they provided the primary passenger service from the Limestone Coast to Adelaide for over 35 years.
The last flight of the ‘Bluebirds was New Years Eve 1990, bringing a celebratory ending to the history of passenger rail-travel along the Coonawarra line.
